21 Jul BAN (UK Chapter) Participates in the London 10K Run in Support of Save the Children UK
Sunday 21 July 2019 was all glitz and glamour as members of Brothers Across Nigeria (BAN), UK Chapter, and their families joined other participants in the 10K run to raise awareness and support Save the Children charity organization UK.
The enthusiastic participants who came from all over the world, took the bull by the horn by partaking in the 10K run in support of different charity organizations, and continuing the great work of providing humanitarian aid. This is in line with the ethos and constitution of BAN, which includes service to humanity and provision of appropriate assistance where necessary.
BAN (UK Chapter) for many years have been participating in the 10K run to raise money for Diabetes UK. However, this year, BAN (UK Chapter) decided to partake in the 10K run to support Save the Children UK, with a view to boosting their effort in providing humanitarian assistance to people in need across the globe, irrespective of their ethnic origin, nationality, political beliefs, or religion.
BAN believes that the collective participation, contribution and efforts from individuals, group of people and corporations, towards supporting notable charity foundations will go extra miles in providing succour to people in need, and invariably make the world a better place for all. To this end, BAN (via its numerous chapters worldwide) would continue to participate in charity activities by making donations, supporting and raising awareness for genuine causes.
